Characterization (by Bas Kokshoorn): Shell fragile, moderately slender conical, white, reaching 9.5 mm in length. Length/width 2.9. Protoconchs absent. Teleoconch whorls 7, separated by a deep, fenestrate suture. Teleoconch with thin costae, damaged in both specimens. Costae orthocline, interspaces gradually increasing in size. At suture costae fused with those on adjoining whorls, costae stagger. Outer margin of costae strongly bend abaperturally over whole of their length. Costae not coronate and. Interspaces between costae smooth. Fifth teleoconch whorl with 7 costae. Aperture subcircular, columellar and basal side flattened, with a distinct, almost straight angle between both sides. Columellar callus present. Apertural length/shell length 0.3. Umbilicus absent. |
